Mid-April - application of a fast acting fertilizer stimulates early green-up for a lush spring lawn. 14-13-6, 1% iron. -
Late May - early summer fertilizer is a slow release fertilizer which is designed to help keep your lawn green and to provide the grass plant with nutrients during the hot summer months. 14-3-6, 1% iron. -
Early July - also a slow release of fertilizer which will help the lawn stay green through the hot summer months and a healthy actively growing lawn is the best defense against weeds and insects. 6-2-12, 3% iron. -
Mid-September - fertilizer application at this time provides a quick boost to rejuvenate the lawn in cooler weather and to bring back the lushness, which may have been lost during the hot dry summer weather. 14-3-6, 1% iron. -
Late October to Mid-November - this is probably the most important fertilizer application that is necessary for a thick, healthy lawn.
